Holiday (1958)

Body Construction
Holiday is a 20" all-vinyl walking doll jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips, with plastic disks in her hip joints. She has sleep eyes with brush lashes, and rooted dark blonde hair in a bubble cut style. She has pierced ears with drop pearl earrings.

This doll is marked "20 HH" on the back of her head below the hairline; "20 BAL HH" on her back; "20" on the underside of each arm; and "20HH" inside each thigh.

Her original outfit is a taffeta party dress with tulle overlay, silkscreened with green and white flowers, with a pink bow at the waist; pearl necklace; and generic white plastic heels. She came with a complete wardrobe including a strapless sundress, gold jacket, blue cotton coat, plaid skirt and white blouse with matching plaid trim, white taffeta panties and bra, tulle petticoat, nylon hose, an extra pair of shoes, purse, hat, sunglasses, rhinestone ring, extra set of pearl jewelry and hair curlers. This doll and her complete wardrobe were packaged in a white patterned cardboard trunk with blue interior and white plastic handle.
