Uneeda Doll Company, based in New York, has manufactured a wide variety of dolls since 1917. Always quick to jump on a new trend, they introduced their line of high-heeled fashion dolls in 1957. Tinyteen and her close cousin Suzette, were 10.5" vinyl dolls made to compete with Ideal's Little Miss Revlon. They also added 19" fashion dolls to the line, and in 1957 introduced Dollikin, a hard plastic and vinyl doll with multiple joints for lifelike posability.
