Ideal Revlon Dolls dressed in Queen of Diamonds outfits. At left, lace and tulle; right, velveteen bodice and taffeta skirt with gold metallic threads.

Ideal’s highest priced line of Revlon dolls were dressed in outfits called Queen of Diamonds. These featured more expensive fabrics, such as taffeta, velveteen and lace, often accompanied by a real fur stole; rhinestone earrings, necklace and solitaire ring. Shoes were usually black but sometimes matched the color of the dress.

This Queen of Diamonds ensemble had a velveteen coat, and a scarf of the same gold lame as the dress bodice. A variation had a red coat.

  • Pale pink tulle and white lace dress with tiered skirt. See photo at top.
  • Red velveteen bodice with short sleeves; white taffeta skirt with horizontal and vertical gold threads; fur stole. See photo at top.
  • Sleeveless dress with gold metallic bodice, red cotton full skirt with black and gold print; red or black velvet coat; long gold scarf to match bodice fabric. See photo above.
  • Aqua, blue, green, red, pink or yellow brocade taffeta with net yoke, sleeves and sash; fur stole. See photo below.
  • Red, blue, teal or green velveteen dress with short sleeves, pink taffeta sash that ties into a bow in the back; rabbit fur stole. See photo at bottom.
  • Polished cotton dress in pink or red with white squared collar, plastic pin on bodice.
